do nothing. just keep your passport active for the country you are a citizen of. If you want that nationality.

you can also be stateless. meaning you have no nationality. you just live in Thailand as a resident. but then you will not be able to travel very much. so be careful

Where would I start to be able to live and work overseas…Scotland?

Question by liv: Where would I start to be able to live and work overseas…Scotland?

Best answer:

Answer by Paris
Depends what nationality you are and what kind of work you are looking for. In any event, if you are not a UK citizen you won’t be able to come here and work unless you have a residents permit and a work permit (applies to Scotland, England, Wales and N. Ireland). Work permit is usually applied for by the company who wish to employ you. It’s not easy unless you have a skilled profession. Good luck.

What would be the most economical boat to live on after retirement?

-

Question by russianheman: What would be the most economical boat to live on after retirement?
I plan to buy and live on a boat after I retire with my wife. I want to be able to travel on open ocean waters without problems and enough room to live comfortably. I’ve researched quite a bit–it seems a catamaran sailboat would be the most economical without compromising too much space. Your input is appreciated.

Boats and water there are always problems Cats are to wide for dockage in marinas. Best try and charter some different boats till U BOTH fine the 1 that fits U BOTH as there are a lot of divorces when boats and cruising come together. I have a 48 Sportfish and like it very Much. Had sail and cruised for 8yrs. Not again. To much work.Either it fuel or sails and both have there disadvantages and happiness.Take courses so U have a heads up before the deep plunge.

Just make wise financial decisions.
Know that by making loans you are only making banks rich and you poor.
Live beneath your means and always save.
Try to make goals – such as buying your first car in cash and never financing anything but a small home.

I would tell you to google “retirement calculator”
But the number will just scare you to death at age 18.
Should be about 2.8 million saved in order to live the poverty level.
The number is high – remember inflation
Just live cheaply and save, save, save.
