Question by Emma: Is it smart to bring a child into this world with an income of less than 200,000?
My family loves to watch house hunters…especially house hunters international…
Needless to say…I am applaud at the 1 bedroom/1 room shacks that sell for 300,000+ dollars in Latin America, Europe, and Asia…
I dont undestand…these people “seem” to have regular jobs but they are buying homes (modest homes and apartments) at 500,000 dollars…
How can average people that make between 50,000 and 150,000 a year afford homes that cost 500,000???
If that is the market that we are living in today…with wages NOT going up I do not see HOW its possible to live an average/above poverty lifestyle with children unless your family is pulling in 200,000…
As the dollar continues to loose value I dont have a clue what people are going to do…
I am single and I am SCARED to death on how to take care of myself…why are people having children when jobs are disappearing…and the price of everything else is sky-rocketing?
Having children seems like a committment to abject poverty if you have a normal job (30-70k) like many Black women do…
appalled I mean…
Am I losing it? If I am dead wrong please tell me how are you making it?
the means of survival were different in those societies…in modern societies you could be robbed of your life savings in a moment…

Yes, and you must live in some kind of bubble. Real life must escape your understanding. Seek help.
