Ok so I’m 19, I need a job and want to go to college..but when I was born I never got registered which means I have no BC or SS number I’m pretty much invisible, I was born in a retirement home and transferred to a city hospital in California, then my parents took of to Mexico without registering me! Is there like a late registering for birth certificates?? If so where can I get an application..whats my best option??

You need a judicial certificate of birth and you will have to have witnesses and documentary evidence that what you have been told is true. Get a lawyer.

Question by loving_care_37601: Is it cruel to put your parents in a retirement home?
I’ve been taking care of my mother for many years. She is now 71. My main responsibility had been to make sure the bills get paid, that we are stocked up in groceries & household items, to get her to her Dr’s appts & fill her medications & give her medications to her on time. I haven’t got to have much of a life because of this. When I was 15, she started drinking & we lost everything. That’s when I had to step up & start making sure the bills were paid. I went through mental/emotional hell. She just stopped drinking a few years ago. Now I’m 30 & am still w/her, making sure everything is done. I’ve never been married or had children or even moved away from her. She is now starting to get Alzheimers. It’s the early stages, but she’s doing strange things. I read up on it last night & read what happens in the severe stage. I won’t be able to work & take care of her when that starts. Is it cruel to consider putting her in a home? Don’t I have a right to have my own life too?

Question by Sarah: how can i convince my parents to get a puppy?
i realy want a dog! im in 7th grade and it seems that my family is always happier when there is excitment. my dad is almost at the age of retirment, and right now, he isnt working. i go to a private school and we already payed the tuition but by the time im in high school ill go to public and we might have more money. im really hoping tht we can get a dog when i graduate. i am very good at convincing my parents of things…thats only part of my problem. i want ot know a little more about the breed i would like, i want a Jack Russel Terrier how much they cost to buy/adopt, (i would deff. want a puppy) how much do they eat, howw long do they live, how much do vet bills cost, are they easy to train, do they have any health problems, anything that might help me convince my parent that its a good breed and wouldnt b so bad to get a dog. i just think they r so cute i might die if i have to live without one! i also want to try to save up some of my money(to help my mom and dad out if they agree with it) so what r some ways i can save up some quick cash? i have untill my first yea of hischool so this is no rush. any ideas?
i have 300 dollars saved up now…is that close to enough to buy one?
oh and we have a cool back yard, and i love taking walks up the street-i wouldnt mind at all to take the dog! i dogsat for my aunts dogs too. they r fulgrown, energetic, boxers! and i realy wouldnt mind taking care of them! nobody is allergic in my family either!
i saved 300 dollars in ONE YEAR… so by the summer that i go into high school, i might have a job (because i have summer jobs now) plus all my other savings. so i would have 0… sorry just thinking out loud here…. any other good breeds besides terriers? hmmmmm lets c……uh how much do all the shots cost?

Well, dogs cost a little bit more than that. But to convince your parents to get you a puppy, show them that you’re responsible, in charge, and this most important last one- each day tell them a cool fact about dogs.
