Medicine in Asia or ACCA in UK ????

-

Question by wonderful: Medicine in Asia or ACCA in UK ????
I am totally confused now. ((I am a Nepali citizen living in the UK.))

I wanted to do medicine(MBBS) but cant afford it in the UK so i need to go to Nepal and do MBBS there and come back to the UK and do some UK courses to qualify myself to practice here. MBBS in Nepal cost about £15000 for the whole course but it costs about £20000 for one year in the UK!!!

Also I am thinking of doing ACCA(Chartered Accountancy) from the UK which has good scope here but the thing is that i will only be earning money and no interest in it. May be i might be interested in ACCA once i start doing it but cant say now. I did bio, chem, physics and maths at A-Levels thinking i will get into medicine but my grades are NOT good either!

WHAT SHOULD I DO????please help.

why airline tickets are more expensive around Asia … ?

-

Question by lt: why airline tickets are more expensive around Asia … ?
so i am planning on traveling to Vietnam on February 2010 and I am living in Japan. I’ve been searching for airline tickets for days now, and the results are that the prices are much more expensive than that of a flight from USA to Vietnam. From Hiroshima, Japan, to Saigon, Vietnam, it costs at least about ,000 dollars on average, and from San Jose, CA, USA, to Saigon, Vietnam, is like 0 dollars. Why is that?

and it’s now months ahead of time ’til the flight date, it doesn’t make much sense for the price.

thanks much.

Economics 101, buddy!

It is the law of supply and demand!

Japan = high incomes, high prices and not much competition.

Be imaginative! Research Tokyo to Seoul, Seoul to Vietnam and other variations.

“Cruising the Bosphorus: Between Asia and Europe” Beckster’s photos around Istanbul, Turkey

-

A TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to Istanbul, Turkey by TravelPod blogger Beckster titled “Cruising the Bosphorus: Between Asia and Europe”. TravelPod is a company of TripAdvisor™. Beckster’s travel blog entry: “Today went for a “cruise” along the Bosphorus River, which runs right through Istanbul and divides it into Europe and Asia. (It also connects the Black Sea with the Mediterranean Sea) We boarded the government-owned boat (its like public river transport) 20 minutes before departure time, only to find that the best seats had been taken. Not to worry, we were promptly surrounded by fellow tardy Asians (Japanese and Koreans), each group of whom had a leader who proceeded to give a loud running commentary in her native language. Everyone else quickly moved away. The view of various mosques (Istanbul is also known as the City of a Thousand Minarets) and OldNew Ottoman Houses along the river was stunning. But what really got many people (incl. yours truly) excited was the HUGE scandinavian cruise ships we encountered along the way, with exotic names such as Norwegian Princess and Holland-America Lines. They were all gargantuan, new and white and the size of Pearl Hill (behind my house in Penang). I had no idea they even built ships this big, unlike some I did not spend my primary school holidays cruising the Mediterranean. Anyway the question of the day for my geographically-challenged father and I was How did the Ship come Here all the Way From Norway
