Question by mentisveio: Does anyone know of an overseas apprenticeship or study abroad program for beer brewing?
I’m looking for a program that would let me study closely with someone who brews beer, preferably overseas (I live in the U.S.), and preferably in an English speaking country. Any info might help.

Look in trade magazines. Check your local library and the internet for information. Perhaps you could start by working with someone in the US, to start your skill set.

Has anyone used the California Vehicle Retirement Program?

Question by : Has anyone used the California Vehicle Retirement Program?
Hello, I have an 88 Mercedes with 255,000 miles on it, and it won’t shift above 40 MPH. I heard that California has a vehicle retirement program that pays between ,000 and ,500 if you retire your older car regardless if it has failed or passed the smog test. I did pass the smog test about 4 or so months ago. Just curious as to any information or tips I could get on this before I apply. Thanks!

Go to their website. Fill out the forms and provide what they ask for, mail it to the address they provided you with, wait for them to accept or reject your car.
