should Americans living overseas have their own congressmen/women and senators?

-

Question by Juzzy: should Americans living overseas have their own congressmen/women and senators?
Also should they have there own set of electoral votes in an election there are like 4.1 million Americans overseas if they were put into a single state it would be the 10th most populist state in the US. Also many decisions the US makes can affect these people depending on where they live. For example war in Iraq affects the security of Americans living in Muslim countries so should these people have their own congressmen/women and senator explain

God, no! We have enough politicians as it is. As long as they are United State’s citizens, they have a vote.

Do you consider “Retired Americans” in the Philippines lazy?

-

Question by flipperr: Do you consider “Retired Americans” in the Philippines lazy?
I understand a 70 year old person who is not able to move or lift anything or is too old to work and is unable to support themselves financially. That makes sense for someone to be retired.

However, there are lots of Americans who are retired early in the Philippines. Lets face it, Social Security isn’t enough to get an apartment in Southern California and I doubt a pension would really make someone rich in the US. Especially if it is collected at an early age. I find it hard to imagine that someone would give up the priviledge and luxury of living in the US for a 3rd world country. The only reason I could think of is the opportunity to not work for a living.

Is this simply because some people don’t want to actually work for a living? And do you consider these people to just be lazy?

Even if they retired at an early age, they are retired. And as long as they pay their bills they have a right to lay back and do nothing if that’s what they want to do.

Do Americans actually understand what immigrants do for U.S. economy, or has Fox News sucessfully brainwashed?

-

Question by Rod Ney: Do Americans actually understand what immigrants do for U.S. economy, or has Fox News sucessfully brainwashed?
Most of the voting public into thinking immigrants will cause the downfall of America

Well, consider 3 things:

1) The majority of Americas population consists of Baby Boomers, who are planning on retiring soon (something which will either destroy the US economy because of the huge gaps in the workforce they will leave behind , and the fact that America is shooing immigrants (the wealthy , well connected, educated young of other countries) from coming)

2) America , a country which is 70% white, is ranked dead last out of 22 developed countries in education, and almost all of it’s highly educated academic elites are IMMIGRANTS from Africa, East Asia, and the Middle East

Statistics reveal that African immigrants and East Asian immigrants constitute the 2 highest educated demographics in the US, and both are no longer feeling like contributing to the sinking ship that they see as America, many are returning to their countries and taking an estimated 500 000 US jobs, years of expertise and thier potential contributions to the economy with them

So in the information age where the strength of a country depends on the knowledge and skill of it’s citizenry, anti – intellectual White Americans are spearheading movements to drive even highly educated doctors, engineers, and IT professionals from immigrant backgrounds out by lumping them in with a few illegal immigrants ( when over 60% of American Latinos are legal ); at the same time White Americans get dumber and lazier
